FICTIONIST!!!

Went to a Fictionist Concert! I absolutely love this band. I discovered them in September and fell in love. They are so fun to watch live. They rock hard!!! Their recorded music is actually not as rockish as their live music but its all really good. They are currently in a competition to get on the cove of Rolling Stones! I hope they win! I just love his hair! There were also some other bands at the concert that were really good like The Neighbors!

Randomly played the box game one night. It was pretty fun.

This is Jenae and all I can say is WOW! She is really good at the box game and brought some good competition.

Our FHE brothers are on a dogeball team and we went to one of their games. It was pretty intense!! Both the teams were totally serious. It was actually pretty funny. There was a referee and everything...it was legit!

A Little Bit of Randomness

Here are some random pictures to let you know what I've been doing.These are the giant icicles that have been hanging outside of our window. It has actually warmed up now so they have melted. Icicles get really big here. I actually saw a kid sucking on one once which grossed me out. :)

I bought this puzzle because I thought it would be a relaxing break from homework and then when I was all done I could glue it together and put it on my wall. Well I was wrong! This puzzle is so hard. It is Van Gough "Starry Night" but it is a photomosaic puzzle which apparently means its ten times harder. (Which I didn't know.) It is taking forever and I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get it done by the end of the semester. Anytime someone sits down on the couch I always bug them and make sure that the add a few more pieces.

So my friend, and neighbor Chelsey's picture was in the Scroll (the school newspaper) this past Tuesday. I decided to cut out about ten of the pictures and paste them on her door. I even drew hearts around her head to make it even better. When I left to go pick up Kelsey from work I noticed that her car was still gone and that she hadn't probably seen them yet. When I picked up Kelsey I told her about it and when we got back to the apartments I saw that Chelsey's car was parked out front. Well Kelsey wanted to see what the picture looked like so she creeped up to the door and was peeking at them right when Chelsey decides to open the door. We all screamed and Chelsey slammed the door in Kelsey's face because she was so surprised. Kelsey and I ran into our aparment laughing and Chelsey came into our apartment a few minutes later to see if we had done it. I tried to keep a serious face and tell her it wasn't me but I couldn't do it. It was pretty funny.

I got a shot and survived! Now just a couple more and hopefully I will be done for a very long time! :)

We celebrated Kelsey's Birthday. She is now the big 22! I decorated her room a little bit and made her wear this Birthday Princess sash when we went out to eat at Abblebee's.

Family: The Best Medicine

I got Presiden'ts Day off from school which meant three day weekend! I decided to go down to Utah to visit my Grandma and Grandpa Shurtliff along with some other relatives. I stayed at my aunt Barbs house who lives very close to my grandmothers so I was able to walk there. It was very convenient. Grandma, Grandpa and I. It was so good seeing them. I spent all of Saturday with them. It was fun just sitting and talking with my Grandma and holding her sweet little hand.

The four cousins! We were all born in same year and always have to get a picture whenever we get together because it doesn't very happen very often. I love these girls! Since we don't see each other very often it sometimes takes a little time to warm up to each other and then we go CRAZY! I love these girls!

Sleep Over! We played games, watched movies and just hung out. It was a blast!!

HaPpY vAlEnTiNe'S dAy!

Today was a pretty good Valentine's Day. I was actually pretty spoiled.

My mom sent me a package and this cute little sign was in it along with candy, some cutes socks and these little foam stickers (as seen below).

We put these all over our bedroom door. Very festive.

My sister Melissa also sent me a package which included these balloons which made our decorations complete.

A card from my mom. She is so sweet. In the card she said, "Tell your roomates this card came from your boyfriend. It looks like a boy might have made it." Ha ha. I love you mom!

My friend Jodi suprised me and sent a package too! She spoils me. :) A valentine Riddle: What do you feed a teddy bear?....Nothing he's already stuffed! Pretty good right?!

My friend Erika sent me a very cute Valentine.

In the package my sister sent me she included this moose which used to be my Grandma Ririe's. It still smells like her. I have to admit that I did tear up when I saw it.

Melissa also included these very fun peace sign bracelets.


I came home from working out tonight and found this on my pillow! It's from my FHE brother Manny. He even dressed up as a Cupid and I missed it! Darn!

And to top it all off Kelsey and I shared this delicious heart shaped pizza which I thought was very fun!

Crazy Weekend

FRIDAY

So this weekend was quite an experience to say the least. Friday I went to the only two classes that I have. I then studied and took my Chemistry test. I then went to work and after that I was supposed to study for my Pathophysiology test. Kelsey and I decided that we needed to get some sugar before we started to study. We went to Broulim's and lost control. We bought TONS of junk food. All of our delicious junk. I do not want to know how many calories this is. We got Starbursts, Mambas, Snickers, Pop Rocks, Ben & Jerry's, Carmel Drumsticks, Stewart's soda (Orange Creme, Root Beer, Cheery Creme, Lemon Lime), chocolate milk and Huckleberry Ice Cream (which is super delicious by the way!).
While we were in the store we got a lot of funny looks because all we had in our cart was junk food. While in the ice cream isle I got really excited about some of the flavors and this lady thought I was totally nuts. It was pretty funny.

After we got super hyped up on sugar we went nuts!!! We did some Karaoke! It was pretty hillarious. We were singing at the top of our lungs not very well by the way. I'm pretty sure anyone that was passing by outside could probably hear us. :) We didn't get much studying done.

SATURDAY
Saturday I got up early studied for my Pathophysiology test and went and took it. Kelsey and I decided that we need to go Bajio one more time because it has been bought out by Costa Vida which we are very upset about.

SUNDAY
So on Sunday we did all the good Sunday stuff like going to church and taking a nap. I worked on a little homework. We got a little bored in the evening and Kelsey decided that she wanted to climb to the top of a snow pile (more like a mountain) that we can see out of our bedroom window that is across the street. So we dressed up all warm and headed over. Our roomate Kar also decided to join us.

When we climbed to the top of the pile we discovered that there was another pile right behind it and I decided to jump from one to the other. Kar and Kelsey were a little worried that I might break something but I didn't! I think that I kind of look like im doing some sweet karate move.

So pretty much I had a very busy weekend.

Benton Paul

So last Saturday a friend of mine told me that Beton Paul would be having a concert at the opening of this restaurant on College Ave. I didn't really believe her because I didn't really hear about it from anyone else. Well we went and he was there!!! I saw him off to the side of the stage and just about had a heart attack! ha ha. I have liked him for a really long time. He came to Rexburg with David Archuletta but I didn't go to the concert.

I was first introduced to Benton Paul a couple of years ago and I have been obsessed ever since. I was so glad that I went to this concert!

I met Benton Paul! Highlight of my life! ;)


He can sing to me anytime! :)

We were right at the front near the stage. I could have reached out and touched him. I restrained myself because I thought that might appear creepy. :)
