The city of Rexburg decided to put up this sign to prevent students from jaywalking from Sunrise apartments to campus. Do you think that this really stopped anyone? Not really, now instead everyone just walks around the sign. You can even see that the grass is worn down right around the sign. 
The crosswalk is WAY down the sidewalk. About where that car on the street is. Realistically is any lazy college student going to walk the extra distance. No. Ha ha.
