Corn Maze!

October 8, 2011

On Saturday we went to a corn maze out towards Shelly and Firth. It was a lot of fun.

Sheree, Emilie, Me, Daniel and Rebekah

The maze we went in had clues that you used to try and solve a mystery. It was a lot of fun for the kids and us!

Sawyer and Hannah.

And yes Sawyer is wearing a pink jacket. Christina didn't have any warm coats for him so we had to borrow one from Hannah. :) Don't tell Nate!

When we sloved the mystery we got stickers!

They had a really cool ride in water bins pulled by a tractor. It was a lot of fun but pretty bumpy!

Emilie and I brought up the rear

Don't you just love that pink coat! ;)

Spencer and Hannah!

They had these fun bouncy toys (I can't remember what they are called) that you could race around a track with. It was a lot of fun but my legs were definitely burning afterwards.

Bowling

Sheree had a coupon for bowling at Fat Cats in Rexburg so everyone drove up on Friday so we could go bowling.

I set sawyer in this little car just to see what he would do and he loved it! He was a laughing and giggling. It was so cute.

Let's go for a drive!

Sheree got a strike!

Emilie! She is actually a pretty good bowler.

Look at that smile!

Christina

Sawyer got a special treat...Pizza!

I had to include this picture because Sawyer always squats. I don't know if he doesnt like getting up once he has fully sat down but he will just squat like this and sit like that forever! That would kill my legs!

At the Park

October 4, 2011

Christina came up and visited me on Tuesday between when I had classes and work. We took Sawyer to a park near my apartment and had some fun!

He really likes to swing!

He is so stinkin cute.

He is getting really good and walking and I'm sure he will be running around on his own pretty soon!

He loved to crawl all over the play structure.

The slide was by far his favorite. It was hard to get a picture of his face but he was always grinning when he came down.

He is excited all ready!

We also made dinner together. I obviously didn't have a high chair so we just strapped him in his stroller so he couldn't run away and fed him in there.

Conference Weekend

Conference weekend I always go to Idaho Falls and spend it with Sheree and her family. This year my mom came too!! Christina and my cousin Emilie also came drove up from Arizona. It was a big party. My aunt Annette even made an appeareance.

He is so adorable. I hadn't seen him for 9 months. He was so big!

We watched conference with the family and inbetween sessions we went outside and played in Wayne & Dian'es backyard. It was very fun!

I don't know why but I think this picture is so funny!

Who can say no to a face like that?

We actually got a picture of Sawyer smiling which is a miracle!

Christina and Emilie! Best friends!

Sawyer loved to crawl around in the grass. Apparently they don't have "grass" in Arizona.

So cute!

He loved to swing!

Rebekah wanted to show off her mad skills.

Sawyer loved to go down the slides. According to Christina he actually had never been down one. It looks like he is crying but he isn't. It is actually very hard to tell whether he is crying or laughing. (at least for me)

Weeee!

I love both of our faces! ha ha!

happy birthday to YOU!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sister MELISSA!!!!

I hope you have a very fun day!!!!

Thanks for being such a great sister.

LOVE YOU!!

Lately

Well I haven't blogged in a while so I thought I better. I haven't taken any pictures latley so this will probably be pretty boring. :) So what I have been up to:

  • Working-Hours at work seem to come all at once and then nothing and then all at once again. This past week I was at the hospital Tuesday through Saturday. Tuesday I had a staff meeting so I was only there for a couple of hours. Work has been really busy lately. All our patients come in at once and I feel like I'm running around with my head chopped off. But I love it! I have decided that it is your co-workers that really make or brake a job. I LOVE the people I work with. They are all so fun to be around. They are mostly all girls and thats probably why. Ha ha. :) For example at our staff meeting we spent probably most of the time laughing and eating. Jami is moving to Pocatello (or as some people call it poke-a-hell-hole he he) for her husband to go to school. She is one of my favorites and I am really going to miss her!

  • Reading-When I'm not working I'm usually reading. I'm trying to read a lot of books this year. I finally caught up with Melissa and then she had a read-a-thon and surpassed me by quite a lot and I don't think I have any hope of catching up. Oh well. I read the third and fourth book of the Bayern series which were pretty good. I also read Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder which I loved! I am currently trying to read Life of Pi but I'm having a hard time getting into it. I'm also reading How I Live Now which is kind of odd.

  • Swimming-Annette's ward had an activity at the Roy Aquatic Center. They rented the whole place out so it was a lot of fun! There are a lot of fun things for little kids but they also have two water slides. One of them goes straight down which makes my stomach lurch around and they also have a curvy one. They also have diving boards which are fun to jump off of. Kortney didn't get to come with us because she had to work. So we decided to go again on Saturday after I got off work. We went down the slides and jumped of the boards it was a lot of fun. I tried diving off the side of the pool but pretty much failed. I used to know how to dive when I was younger but I guess I've lost it.

  • Dinner-I actually made dinner this week. It was only sloppy joes but that is a big deal for me. I never cook! My aunt was out working in the yard so she had me cook the sloppy joes. It was pretty easy to follow the recipe she had and they tasted pretty good I must say so myself.

  • Snow cones- I got two snow cones this week. The kids down the street sell them for 75 cent and they are pretty big. Their mom was out helping them when I was out there because there were a lot of neighborhood kids out there. She said that one kid ate 9 snow cones and that is the record! She told the kid that if he ate 10 she would give him a free one but he felt to sick. Now I want to break the record!

Well that is all I can really think of for now. School starts in two weeks. Ahhh!

Chicken anyone?

So at Fresh Market they had a lot sale and they had fresh chicken for sale in bulk. So my aunt bought 40 lbs to freeze! We were all roped in to helping. :)

Annette cut the fat of the chicken.

Roy tore the freezer paper and tape and Kortney and I wrapped the chicken in the freezer paper.

Lots and lots of chicken. Now if we need chicken we can just go pick how much we need and unthaw it. The chicken breasts were huge! We decided they were definitley on roids. They were the biggest chicken boobies I've ever seen! (My mom hates it when I call them that ha ha! I just couldn't help myself.)

The chicken on the paper

I discovered that wrapping chicken is harder than it looks. The freezer paper is slippery on one side which made it hard to keep the slippery chicken in one place. It took me quite a few times before I found a way that worked pretty well without having any chicken poking out.

My Kiddos!

While I was at home I got to hang out with my favorite Kiddos! Melissa, Christina and I have babysat the McClellans since they were born. I LOVE THESE KIDS!!

Livvy!

She is absolutley the cutest. I just love her. Whenever she sees me she runs up and gives me a big hug! There is nothing like the love of a child.

Maddy!

She is so much fun and quite the tree climber! She was trying to shake the cherries out of the trees. She is very artistic and her art just blows me away. I can't believe that she is going to be 12 in February!

Zach!

This is what Zach does: attack me! He is a lot of fun and loves to wrestle. He has so much energy and never ever seems to get tired.

He pretty much dominates. :)
