A Day With Friends

Paula and Livvy came to Utah for a wedding and they called me up and said that they wanted to see me. So we got together last Monday. We went to a park and Livvy and I played on the slides and just ran around being crazy. It was a lot of fun! I have known Livvy since she was born and now she will be 7 in July. I can't believe she is getting so old. We are great friends and have lots of fun together.

Funny face!

Funniest face!

Livvy took this picture. Not bad eh?

We had a lot of fun on the slides. Livvy was really good at climbing back up them. I had really slipper shoes on and just could not master it.

We went to Kneaders for lunch and President Henry B. Eyring waked in right as we were finishing. Livvy got so excited and started saying things like "I've never seen one in real life before!" It was so cute. President Eyring ordered his food and then sat down right behind me. Livvy shook his hand and he told her she was beautiful. He was with his family so we didn't want to bother him too much so I didn't shake his hand. But it was very cool to see him out and about in the real world!

Bacon anyone?....YES PLEASE!!!

For those of you who don't know I am obsessed with Bacon! It is so delicious and I just can't get enough. I was out shopping with my Aunt and Uncle when my Uncle found this shirt and so of course I had to get it!!

I acutally wore it on an airplane when I was flying home from Portland and the security guy said that it was the 5th bacon shirt he had seen that morning. I guess bacon is pretty popular!

Yum! Yum!

Jack in the Box has come out with a Bacon Shake so of course I had to try it. I soon discovered that they don't have Jack in the Box in Utah except for in St. George. How lame is that? I miss their curly fries. :( Anyways I was in Idaho one weekend so I made my Aunt and Uncle drive me to Jack in the Box.

My face right after I took a sip. So priceless. Unfortunately the shake was pretty gross and did not taste like bacon at all! So don't be tempted to try it.

At a staff meeting at work they provided lunch and on this particular day they had these turkey sandwitches that had bacon on them. I got so excited. My boss asked if anyone liked extra tomato on their sandwitch because he didn't want his. I shouted "I like extra bacon!" a little too loudly I might add. It was quite funny and embaressing. Now everyone knows about my bacon obsession and has been teasing me about it. :) Good times.

Daisy

We have a dog!

Her name is daisy and she is a Yorkie. She is quite the cutie. Someone the Poulsen's know asked if we would watch their dog for a few months why they went to St. George for the winter and that if we liked her we could keep her. So now we have a dog.

I have always wanted a dog since I was little and one year for my birthday list was:

1) puppy

2) puppy

3) puppy...like twenty times.

But I never did get a puppy.

Daisy likes to be around people but it is not cuddly at all. It is actually quite funny. She follows me around the house and will lay down wherever I am. She will climb up on the couch and lay next to my leg but if I pet her too much she gets up and moves over where I can't reach her. She has such a funny personality.

She likes to sleep in my doorway for some reason.

Kortney is the one that givers her baths. I think she looks like a rat when she is wet. I absolutely love having Daisy. I love to take her on walks around the neighborhood. There are a lot of dogs that live near us and some of them are quite big. Daisy thinks she is quite big and tries to take them on. It is pretty funny.

I Finally Graduated!!

Well I have decided that I have to be the worst blogger ever. I haven't blogged in 4 months! Wow, pretty lame. I guess I have a lot of catching up to do over the next few blog posts.

First things first. I finally graduated from college!!! I graduated on December 16th with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University-Idaho. What a great day that was!! My class was the largest graduating from BYU-Idaho but which will probably be suprassed by April's graduating class. :)

I got to graduate with my dear friend Megan which I was really greatful for or else I would have been all alone and that would have been sad. It took me an extra semester to graduate so most of the people I knew had already graduated but Megan had gone on a mission so she was late graduating too so it was perfect!!! Meggo was one of my roomates my very first semester and one of my favorite roomates of all time!!! I absolutley love her! It was so fun sitting with her and walking with her. We laughed the whole time even right before we had to walk across the stage.

Tanya was also able to make it to my graduation. She was also one of my roomates. I lived with her for 3 semesters. She is from Russia and is very funy and quite the unique person. :)

My parents drove out from Washington to attend the graduation and my brother Spencer rode a bus from Salt Lake so that he could also come. My two best friends Ashley and Kelsey also came. It was a big party!!! I don't have any other exciting pictures because my Dad took the good ones and he hasn't given them to me yet the little stinker. If he ever does get around to giving them to me maybe I will post a few more.

Corn Maze!

October 8, 2011

On Saturday we went to a corn maze out towards Shelly and Firth. It was a lot of fun.

Sheree, Emilie, Me, Daniel and Rebekah

The maze we went in had clues that you used to try and solve a mystery. It was a lot of fun for the kids and us!

Sawyer and Hannah.

And yes Sawyer is wearing a pink jacket. Christina didn't have any warm coats for him so we had to borrow one from Hannah. :) Don't tell Nate!

When we sloved the mystery we got stickers!

They had a really cool ride in water bins pulled by a tractor. It was a lot of fun but pretty bumpy!

Emilie and I brought up the rear

Don't you just love that pink coat! ;)

Spencer and Hannah!

They had these fun bouncy toys (I can't remember what they are called) that you could race around a track with. It was a lot of fun but my legs were definitely burning afterwards.

Bowling

Sheree had a coupon for bowling at Fat Cats in Rexburg so everyone drove up on Friday so we could go bowling.

I set sawyer in this little car just to see what he would do and he loved it! He was a laughing and giggling. It was so cute.

Let's go for a drive!

Sheree got a strike!

Sheree, Rebekah, and Hannah.

Emilie! She is actually a pretty good bowler.

Look at that smile!

Christina

Sawyer got a special treat...Pizza!

I had to include this picture because Sawyer always squats. I don't know if he doesnt like getting up once he has fully sat down but he will just squat like this and sit like that forever! That would kill my legs!

At the Park

October 4, 2011

Christina came up and visited me on Tuesday between when I had classes and work. We took Sawyer to a park near my apartment and had some fun!

He really likes to swing!

He is so stinkin cute.

He is getting really good and walking and I'm sure he will be running around on his own pretty soon!

He loved to crawl all over the play structure.

The slide was by far his favorite. It was hard to get a picture of his face but he was always grinning when he came down.

He is excited all ready!

We also made dinner together. I obviously didn't have a high chair so we just strapped him in his stroller so he couldn't run away and fed him in there.
